Georgia Perimeter College signed a 25,345-square-foot lease at Lakeside Centre, a 5-building, 514,919-square-foot business park in Tucker, Ga. The lease takes effect January 1, 2012.
Jones Lang LaSalle's Eric Vayle, Vice President in the firm's Tenant Representation group, negotiated on behalf of Georgia Perimeter. Peter McGuone of TPA Realty Services represented ownership.
Located on Lakeside Parkway within minutes of Northlake Mall, Lakeside Centre is situated in a park-like setting and offers access to amenities such as a fitness center, conference facilities and dining at the Atlanta Le Cordon Bleu culinary school located within the park.
With 26,000 students and five campuses across metro Atlanta, Georgia, Perimeter College is the third-largest institution within the University System of Georgia and among the fastest-growing two-year colleges in the nation. It offers a variety of Associate Degree programs.
"This is a strategic move that will allow Georgia Perimeter College to free up space for academic positions and programs at its metro-area campuses by transitioning some of its administrative positions to office space at Lakeside Centre," said Vayle.
